The Weekly LitMag (Issue #14)
Curated by us; produced by you
If you’ve noticed, there’s been a small change to the tagline.
(I doubt everyone’s noticed it anyways.)
Welcome to another issue of The Weekly LitMag, this time around being Issue 14.
With Issues 13 to 16 being themed issues, 14 has settled on the theme of serenade.
What is a “serenade”? Defined by Merriam-Webster as":
“an instrumental composition in several movements, written for a small ensemble, and midway between the suite and the symphony in style”
Issue 14 seeks to hear the music you play in your lives - whether sad, happy, anguished, or in love! With that said, The Weekly LitMag is the magazine to submit your works to if you feel like you have something to say because we love those writings!
Some housekeeping stuff:
To follow, subscribe to, or read other contributors, please go to “Contributors’ Notes” (CN) and “Shortlisted” and CLICK ON THEIR NAMES, not their handles
For some pieces, there are only excerpts from the original piece - please click on the author names (in the CN) to read the full story
We’ve only included the crux of your works, so if you have any particular intros, we’ve removed them just for readability reasons - so sorry!
If we’ve missed out on anything, please let us know! <3
Without further ado, please:
Please give it up for our Issue #14 contributors:
Andrea (Andy) Curran 🌄 , C. A. , DYKWCHGT? , Frehley Silvester , Khushboo 🌸 , S. Sun , Vara Valen
Thank you for trusting us with your pieces! We appreciate them very much!
A Banana’s Archive, as she has chosen this theme, has written once again the editorial note this round. Read it for plenty of unhingeness.
Of course, our issues are never complete without our shortlisted contributors. Please also welcome them:
Eli's Ramblings and Writings , Gen Zebra Kayleigh Thorpe , Lea Durell , MeanwhileYesterday, Meow😼 , Pragya Johri
Thank you for stopping by, and have a great week everybody!
Ciao!

Thankyou for encouraging me to write better and making me one of your shortlisted contributers again. I shall strive hard to get my work featured in next issues.
Thank you for featuring my poem Sundays. It's a deeply personal piece to me and I'm so honored to see it in a magazine!
